As of April 1, 2017 anyone working in the construction industry in Ontario and who works at heights is required to have CPO approved training that meets the requirements of the Working at Heights Training Standard. SafetyWerx is an CPO approved provider. The course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to work safely at height.
SafetyWerx offers CPO approved Working at Heights refresher training to participants who have previously taken an CPO approved Working at Heights training course and have been issued a proof of training card with ID number from the CPO. You must have an CPO Working at Heights ID to register for this course.
When workers are required to work in confined spaces, a confined space program is required by law and is vital if incidents, injuries and deaths are to be eliminated. Organizing work in confined spaces can be some of the most challenging for employers and potentially dangerous for workers who carry it out.
